iFilm to air finale for ‘Rooster’ on Saturday

iFilm English TV channel has been scheduled to air the final episode of ‘Rooster’ on Saturday.

Directed by Saeed Aqakhani and produced by Alireza Ebrahimi-Delijani, the final episode of the series will be aired on February 4 at 20:00 GMT.

‘Rooster’ tells the story of Esmaeel, an aspiring director, who he has never been able to get the sponsors to make his movie. On the other hand, his hospitalized father cannot get out of the hospital due to unsettled bills.

While Esmaeel struggles to find a way to get the money, his friend Kamran stumbles on an opportunity that might solve all their problems; however, it might also get them into more trouble than they could possibly handle.

Notable among the cast members of the flick are Yousef Teymouri, Sepand Amir-Soleymani, Seyyed-Javad Razavian, Melika Sharifinia, Hamid Lolaee, Ezzatollah Mehravaran, Karim Akbari-Mobarakeh, Karim Qorbani, Marzieh Sadraei, Mahsa Karimzadeh, Atefeh Baqeri, Yalda Qashqaee, Bita Kheradmand, Behshad Sharifian, Sirous Meimanat, and Asghar Heidari.

The series, produced in 2013, will be replaced by the 26-episode ‘Spellbound’ made by Daryoush Farhang.
